The Blue Horizon is actually part of the album name and title track of Mud Slide Slim & The Blue Horizon, by James Taylor. In life it seems, we are always searching for what might be "Over the Blue Horizon." As a product of an island upbringing and an ocean lifestyle, I was always aware of the horizon, what it represented in daily life and how we viewed the world around us. Each morning the sun would rise on one horizon, bringing with it new opportunities. At day's end it would set to remind us that soon the cycle would start over. It in this time from sunrise to sunset that the horizon was clear and defined and somewhat constant.
This blog is created to bring my Blue Horizons into focus and share with you those things that are just "Over the Blue Horizon."
